Vista 64

I think I’m one of those rare programmers that believes in the “if it ain’t broken, don’t fix it” philosophy.  I used Win98SE long after MS has stopped supporting it.  I mean, frankly, systems would run better because there was less crap loaded in.  It takes me half a day to get a good install of XP going (I like to use nLite to keep it small).  So I guess it comes as no surprise that I only went 64-bit yesterday.  And so far so good.  I quickly downloaded all my drivers yesterday using DriverAgent (why has MS not bought that company yet), disabled tons of services, moved my users folder to the D: drive, and installed Mass Effect.  I have an Asus G2S and I managed to score a 4.9 on the MS gaming index which is pretty damn good.  Next step is Ableton Live…
